PBO Week 2026

Held under the theme "A New Dawn in Action: Celebrating Impact, Connecting Voices, Collaborating for Transformation under the PBO Act", Chalan Foundation took part in the Public Benefit Organizations (PBO) Week 2026 to engage with key stakeholders, strengthen partnerships and contribute to conversations shaping Kenya’s development agenda.

The event was graced by Her Excellency Mrs. Rachel Ruto, the First Lady of the Republic of Kenya, who hailed Public Benefit Organisations for their vital role in advancing community development and complementing government efforts to improve livelihoods across the country.

The event provided a valuable platform to showcase the Foundation’s impact, exchange knowledge and explore collaborative approaches that can drive lasting change in communities across the country.

Over the three-day exhibition, Chalan Foundation booth attracted more than 115 stakeholders from diverse sectors including NGOs, Community Based Organisations (CBOs), government institutions, partners and youth-focused organizations.
