We listen before we design. Insights from learners, schools, parents and communities help us understand barriers to education and shape our response. Our baseline research provides a starting point for programme design, follow-up and learning. Our 2026 Life Skills and Education Baseline covered 51 public day secondary schools across 10 counties and engaged 612 learners and 209 parents and guardians. It provides a starting point for understanding learner needs and informing programme design.
