MAKING EDUCATION A RIGHT, NOT A PRIVILEGE

Our Scholarship and Education Access programme addresses financial and material barriers that can interrupt education for vulnerable learners. Support connects school fees and essential materials with learner dignity, wellbeing, mentorship and educational continuity. We work with schools and caregivers to understand needs and support each learner’s progress.

HOW SUPPORT IS CONSIDERED

Priority is given to learners facing significant barriers to educational participation. Support is subject to eligibility assessment, verification, approval and available resources. Identification or referral does not automatically guarantee a scholarship.

THE LEARNER JOURNEY

Identification → Assessment → Verification → Approval → Enrolment → Support → Attendance and wellbeing follow-up → Progression and transition.

A scholarship opens the door to education; sustained support helps learners stay, participate and progress. Chalan Foundation connects financial and material assistance with attendance monitoring, wellbeing support, mentorship and guidance through educational transitions.Our approach promotes equitable access, educational continuity and progression, helping learners build the confidence and capabilities to pursue opportunities beyond school.
